Easter Weekend April 2011

Yesterday Cade turned 7!! Time flies with kids. All of his friends from school came over and we had a pinata and played outside. Cade told me "mom, when i was in your tummy, it was dark and the only color I could see was black and that was BORING! so I wanted to see other colors and I decided I wanted to come out. That was why I was born early." Thanks for explaining that Cade!

Daddy took the boys to father and sons on Friday (Lake Tawakoni). They camped, fished and wandered with their flashlights.

Jace likes to throw the bigger rocks!

The Birthday boy!

Dont mess with Texas or Saffy with a baseball bat. She taught that bull a lesson!

This is what her hair looks like every morning. Mine too. Only it's cute on her.

Lookin a lot like her daddy in this one. I call this "the smolder".

Cade and Saffron looove to play chase. It is the number one pastime in our house. It never gets old. I thought this was a great picture of Cade chasing her ourside. He is a great big bro.

This one was so cute. She is in her new Easter dress from grandma Colleen. Yeah, we take a lot of pictures of her.

She just kept running up to daddy all day and wanting him to pick her up. She loves Daddy!!

Grandpa and Alyssa Mess with Texas

This is one of the best pictures ever of the kids. All together and having fun! We went to the World Aquarium and the kids were as wild as the animals. Saff was running all over the place and the boys were too. Lucky we didn't lose one of them. This was the best shot we could get with the Mayan dancers. Last year Jace crept up on them dancing and then screamed and ran away when they started to dance. I wish I had it on camera. I think Alyssa's favorite thing we did the entire time was Shenaniganz. She and cade drove cars and both had a good time there. Alyssa's new ride. She has a rope ladder to get her up there. Beary cute. A visit to the Harbor, of course. Alyssa wanted to jump in and swim soooo bad I think she would have if she could. This was at Legoland. The boys favorite place EVER. Saff was doing Karaoke scream and itsy bitsy spider. Everything she does is adorable. Yes, everything.
In line at Legoland to ride the "train" as the boys called it. I think we went on this 4 times because it was a school day and slow. This is out in Forney at the Freaky Weird Shop. I love this picture!! Can this girl pose or what?!! So cute!

They love each other and sweet Lyss helped Saff be a bit more feminine. Mommy is not very good in that department so it was a good thing she had her cous.
All I needed was the box and my head would have been in the Hall of Heads too. Medusa.
Here are some video highlights. I think it was a great think for Grandpa to bring Alyssa. She made the trip so much fun. The kids are already asking when we get to go to Grandpa's house and see them again.
