I guess Texas in getting into Saffy's blood. She picked this out at the store and started to ride this play pony. This was just her being a cowgirl. The cutest one in the world

Steve and the boys went to Monster Trucks. It was loud and we were worried it might be a bit much but they loved it. In fact Jace talks about it almost everyday. It was a great idea for Steve to spend some time doing guy stuff with his little guys.

These next few pics are when there was some lull in the show and Steve took pictures of Cade. They ended up being hilarious. What a cutie. Daddy jr for sure.

Jace has many interests and they change all the time. But right now he is really into seeds and plants and how things grow. He wants to open every fruit and veggie in the house to see what is inside. So we planted, with his help, a small garden in the back. Here he is planting the seeds.

Saffy fell asleep on me. I cant explain what is up with my left eye. But it was a touching moment anyway. I love this little girl.While I was at a girls night out Steve and Saffy had some time together. She loves Steve so much she will do anything to be by him. They took some silly pictures for me when I came home.

These were out front the other day. I have a new phone and i was trying out the camera. The seedlings are coming up. Jace waters his garden every day and cant wait to see it bloom.

Kitchen Renovation Winter 2011/12

This picture is from Sept (Saffy's Birthday). This illistrates the look of the kitchen. The backsplash tile is actually the same tile as our bathroom. The contractor that built the house saved money by using it (cheap). Audra hated it from the begining.
The cabitnets are so 1989. Alan (Grandpa) came down in Nov/Dec and really set us up from repainting the cabinets and replacing the drywall. When grandpa was here Audra and he took down the cabinets and sanded, primed twice and painted twice and varnished once!! it took 8 days of working. Much appreciated dad! I really dont think this would have happened without you being here and getting it started. You are awesome and Steve is too! Below is our evolution.....

The tile came off with the drywall. Major demo.

We went with a 2x4 off-white tile.

I made over 100 custom tile cuts from the 2x4 tile to make all the corners and around electrical.

After the grout, the tile really becomes prominent and so 2012

The grey/silver paint along with the black cabinets give the kitchen definition and comfort.

Christmas 2011

Christmas Morning was exciting!! The kids were buzzing all week. We think Jace was the most excited of all.

Gag gift given to Mommy. It was a box that showed slippers with speakers in them. The worst possible gift to give Mommy if it was real. The box contained good gifts.

Saffy's Gift

Fall 2011

11-11-11 was Jace's birthday. All he wanted was a marble maze. He loves it and Daddy super glued the whole thing together.

This was when he was opening it. Totally blissed out happy.

We came home a few weeks ago and heard something in the corner of the garage. It was this gorgeous adorable OWL! I have never seen an owl in the wild that close up. It was pretty cool. He flew away as soon as I took this picture. Cade was a ghost on Halloween. This is a total throwback to the kind of costumes kids wore in the 50's. I do things old school . He didn't seem to mind or notice. He just had fun.

Saffy had the cutest Snow White outfit but she really wanted to be a dragon again. And Jace wanted to be James the train for the third year in a row! It's all about what they want to be right, so let them be happy.

Our friend from church did our family pictures. They turned out great. We really didnt expect them to be this good because the kids were so all over the place while we were having them taken. We love them!
